For this work I decided to thank a cashier continuously for a period of minutes after purchasing an item from the shop. This work provoked a series of strong reactions as I confronted the shop workers with politeness. To fully expose this piece and give it a new perspective I planted a witness in the shop, under the guise of a normal browsing shopper
